Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S Integrating Dirac Audio Optimization Technologies Unveiled

Xiaomi unveiled its powerful Mi Mix 2S smartphone at an event in Shanghai, China today. The device uses Dirac Power Sound to optimize the built-in speaker system and Dirac HD Sound to optimize Xiaomi headphones when they are connected to the smartphone.

Featuring a near bezel-less design, the 5.99-inch Mix 2 has a slightly curved ceramic back flanked by a metal frame to add durability. A fingerprint sensor sits midway down the phone’s back, where you will also find a vertically-stacked dual camera consisting of two 12-megapixel shooters, one for wide and another for tele shooting. The device comes with a Snapdragon 845 2.8Ghz chip, paired with an Adreno 630 GPU. It also supports face unlock, wireless charging and Xiaomi’s own AI assistant. It starts at 3,299 RMB ($527) for the 6GB/64GB variant, while the 6GB/128GB version costs 3,599 RMB ($575); the top-of-the-line model with 8GB/256GB, a wireless charger, and global band support costs 3,999 RMB ($640).
