Did you watch the APEI Webinar last week? Our CPO Mathias Johansson participated in a discussion about immersive sound for automotive together with Andreas Ehret, Director, Automotive, at Dolby Laboratories and Roger Shively, JJR Acoustics.
A car is a difficult environment when it comes to sound. During the webinar Dirac and Dolby explained what they bring to the automotive market when it comes to immersive sound. To create an immersive sound experience for automotive Dirac is addressing this problem with digital signal processing and good system design to render any type of content optimally. Dolby has a complementary approach and is focusing on the content and delivering new immersive formats into the car. Dirac is the one making sure that it is rendered optimally.
