Jade Design, LLC Enters License Agreement With Dirac Research

FRANKLIN, TN, August 8, 2013 – Jade Design, LLC, parent company of high performance audio brands Emotiva, Emotiva Pro, Sherbourn and Bob Carver.com, announced today a new cooperation with digital sound optimization developer Dirac Research that will result in a new generation of Jade’s consumer and professional audio products featuring proprietary versions of Dirac’s high performance digital audio optimization technologies, including Dirac Live® room correction. 

Under the terms of the agreement, Jade Design will work in tandem with Dirac to create products that tap into Dirac’s innovative and powerful digital sound optimization technologies that complement the ways in which consumers enjoy music and movie soundtracks. Dirac’s portfolio of technologies is famous for being both highly effective and easy to incorporate in audio products, from the most basic lifestyle models to ultra-high end audio systems.

Jade Design will feature custom-developed Dirac technologies in new and exciting lifestyle products as well as the company’s more traditional audiophile components. Specifically, Jade will incorporate a custom version of Dirac Live®, the widely acclaimed digital room correction technology for audiophile-grade components, movie theaters, mobile audio systems and studios, into new multichannel decoder platforms that will be released in Q1 ’14.
